Jazz
Marketing was started by Gabe Villani, a professional musician, who entered
into the marketing business 28 years ago. As a musician he played with countless
performers and Jazz musicians. He lived in The Bahamas, Germany, England, and
Puerto Rico and traveled thoughout the United States. Gabe's
marketing experience includes 15 years with Quasar Consumer Electronics. He was
Quasar’s Zone General Manager for the Southeast United States, The Caribbean
and South America. His Zone led the Quasar Company in market share and profitability.
When Matsushita’s Quasar Company was dissembled in 1986 Gabe entered the
Independent Manufacturers Representative business. Gabe's
marketing success in the Puerto Rico Market led to Transamerica hiring him as
COO and Executive Vice President of all operations in Puerto Rico. This included
responsibility for Transamerica’s finance companies in Puerto Rico, which
generated 340 million dollars annually and responsibility for their 20 Retail
Appliance/Furniture stores that sold over $60,000,000 per year at retail. When
the Puerto Rico company was eventually sold Gabe went back into the independent
Manufactures Representative business and aligned himself with associates that
represented many fine manufacturers such as SHARP, PHILIPS, MARVEL, BROAN
and many other well-known brands. |
